As the storyteller, win by fooling the group. As a guesser, win by spotting the lie. The game has no single winner — it's about the reveals.
The best lies are plausible — something that could believably be true about you. Outlandish lies are easy to spot. A good lie fits your personality just well enough.
Three players minimum, though 5–8 is the sweet spot. More players means more debate before the reveal.
Mix mundane and surprising statements. "I've been to 12 countries, I can't swim, I once met a celebrity" — the trick is making the lie sound just as plausible as the truths.
